This was a great place to overnight in Houma for the price. I have stayed here a couple times on business and have had a pleasant experience each time. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are clean and simple. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wireless internet is quite slow and the gym leaves much to be desired as the equipment is aging and obsolete. There are many gym in the close proximity that are excellent and have day passes for purchase, and many opportunities for shopping and dining within walking distance.
The staff here at microtel are a cut above.There more than willing to go the extra mile for there guest.
Nice place very clean rooms and very wonderful staff. I truly recommend this place.
This is probably my favorite hotel to stay at in Houma Louisiana. We arrived a little later than planned, and Michelle at the front desk was super helpful. She gave us directions to where my husband had to go for work, and also gave us a few places that are kid friendly to eat. Our room was on the third floor, and it was very clean. We will be back!
Maintenance needs to inspect the rooms. Light bulbs out and disgusting dirty walls and rusty door frames in the bathroom. Touch up paint job would help tremendously. Holly the housekeeper is awesome! Very friendly and courteous!
