They are very kind people working here the room they all very clean it is a real nice place to stay

I was doing a training class and since I had to pay for it myself, I googled hotels near me in Houma and seen this place was close. Thought it would be a cheaper option vs a national chain hotel. Paid $50 for a single bed room. Basically I was just glad the room didn't have bed bugs and that is the only highlight of the place (which says a lot).

We love. Budget Inn we go there. For bad weather

The old A-Bear Motel renovated...not too shabby! Tile floors etc.

1) Room had no window, looked like someone had decorated it for the set of "No Country For Old Men" but hey, if your wanting to do a drug deal, then maybe it's perfect.

4) the one single soda machine they had ate my dollar. Kid inside just gave me a dollar back and I asked if he had any soda there i could buy. He said no and that he would have to fill up the soda machine again (ie: i guess they wait till it's completely empty of every kind, then go to Wal-Mart and buy more each time)

2) took 15min to figure out the hot water for the shower. I don't even have the words to explain how messed up it was.

5) Again, I can't help but say, the rooms are depressing as hell. It's like a fight broke out between a Mexican and Indian in 1975 and the end result were the decor, as the place is Indian owned. Tough the girl that checked me in was very nice, the kid the next day not so much. Not sure if they are family etc.

6) ROOM WAS $50 per-night!!!!! Should of been about $23 max for what it is.

I checked out the next day and tried to turn my key-card in but no one even came to the counter, so just left it. I went to Days Inn and booked a room that was 10x better and guess what... it was only $39 per-night and had breakfast included. Not sure what I was thinking just showing up at this place thinking the name would mean it would be cheaper. I give it one star since it didn't have bed bugs but after having paid $50 for the rat hole it was, then going to Days Inn and only paying $39 per-night makes me question my sensibility.

3) only button that worked on the TV remote was the channel button. If you wanted to change the volume, turn on/off, you had to get up and do it manually on the TV.

The owners were awesome we stayed here almost a month and we couldn't ask for better service. We would recommend anyone staying in Houma come here you won't regret it! The service was great rooms were very clean and people were friendly they made us feel like family! When we are back in Houma we will be staying here!
