Let this place guide Houma to a better place to hang out. Houma has a great downtown area but few daytime activities. Jeaux is a great place to stop and take a break south really good java. Great idea... Good location.
The amount of flavors they have for lattes and drinks is amazing. The food and snacks are so good, and it's quickly becoming my favorite place in the city.
The girl at the counter was super nice and helful, the food is pretty darn good and the atmosphere is amazing. It's a great place to get a delicious smoothie or coffee and get some reading done. I definately reccomend it as one of downtown Houma's best places to go to for some great food and great customer service. It's just to the side of the courthouse so it's really easy to get to. There is outdoor seating as well as booths and tables inside. You would think looking at it from the street that it is tiny and cramped, but just the opposite! It is very roomy and spacious. From what I could see, it also looks like they are adding an art gallery and courtyard to the back which I am super excited to see.
