I went in expecting a dinky little place with three people rushing to get me out as soon as possible. Instead I received quality service by people who cared whether or not I was comfortable. I was immediately taken care of and now I've never felt more relaxed or more refreshed. This is definitely a place you want to go to if you want to relax.
I've been feeling pretty down lately so I went to the salon yesterday to get my haircut, because I wanted to feel better. The girl that does my hair is usually pretty good and I really liked her. She asked me if I wanted to cut about 3" off, by showing me in the mirror. I told her she could cut a little more, IF she thought I had split ends. I know I didn't have split ends much, if any. I gave her a 5 star review on facebook before she was finished, because I trusted her. She's cut my hair a few times before. When she was done, I looked in the mirror at the back of my hair and she cut 8" off!!!!! I just burst into tears. I'm still mortified. I loved my long hair. I understand people making mistakes, but not 8". Then I was told that I was just having a bad day and my hair would grow back!. No apology at all!!!! Needless to say I will NEVER go back again. I used to recommend this place to friends and family, but not anymore.
**UPDATE** Dustin, mentioned in the review below, is now at the beauty shoppe in Houma. *** I drive all the way from Metairie to have Dustin cut my hair here. Dustin is amazing at consistently good bangs, which anyone who's had bangs before knows is a rarity. Everyone here is kind and professional. The prices are so low and the quality is so high!! I want to spread the word because I'm so thankful for this place, yet I'm kind of nervous about many more people knowing about it! Lol
I've been only once as a Xmas gift yrs ago and I enjoyed myself to the fullest!
