Food was excellent. Staff and ownership engaged with customers. Great gumbo with a darker roux, nice and thick!!

Visited 8/31/16. Have visited in the past and when in Houma this was our go to place to eat. Large Shrimp Po boy's that were fantastic with shrimp in abundance. New ownership and you can guess the rest. Shrimp small, over cooked(tuff), old oil, smaller portion. Friends has BLT, also poor. Tomato slice was so thin I could almost see through it. Will not return. A complete turn around in quality.
The mini crayfish pies are a must!!!!
Great Atmosphere, lovely staff. I do find that the food is a little under-seasoned for my tastes, but Tony's and hot sauce definitely does the job to resolve that. They have tables throughout the entire house with all kinds of nifty thrifts (many for sale).
I have been here for a hour maybe two and I have not a lick of food on the table if I wasn't here with my mom I would have left already
